Education Specialist (Independent Study Credentialed Teacher): Part-time to Full-time credentialed independent teacher positions available. Mileage and technology stipend. $1,000 Master's Degree stipend, $2,000 Doctorate stipend, and health benefits available. We need dedicated multiple subject credentialed teachers who are culturally competent and have proven successful experience working with students of varying academic levels as well as marginalized youth and families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, providing exceptional educational services in the Oakland, Union City, Fremont, Hayward, Newark & San Jose areas. Connecting Waters is a TK-12 grade independent public charter school that services the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, San Joaquin, Stanislaus Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, and Tuolumne. You choose the areas that you would like to serve.

Salary Info: TK-8 $1,882 per student per year/9-12 $2,246.04 per student per year. Estimated Load: 25 Students (10 High school/15 Elementary) = $50,690 annual salary / 25 High school students = $56,151 annual salary

a-g Visual Arts A, Grades 9 - 12

Online Moodle Classday of the week and time are flexible.

Specific Duties:

·         Set up, prepare, and teach class using Moodle technology.

·         Create AWRs and post grades in SIS.

·         Attend Moodle training sessions as required.

·         Troubleshoot Moodle as needed.

·         Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.

Credentialing Requirements: 

·         Single Subject Credential in Art

·         A Limited Assignment Teaching Permit and willingness to work towards attaining a Single Subject Credential (contact credentials@cwcharter.org to apply).

·         Completion of 18 semester units or 9 upper division or graduate semesters units in art.

Stipend Amount: = $6,270 / year

Science Teacher

This position is primarily located in Union City at our Connecting Waters East Bay (CWEB) Resource Center. Part-time to Full-time credentialed science specialist positions available. Health benefits available. The job provides the utmost flexibility, creativity, and innovation. As the science specialist you would teach at our resource center and also travel with the mobile science lab to other locations as-needed by Connecting Waters Charter Schools (CWCS).  

Salary Info: $61,800 - $78,286 Depending on Experience/Credentials 
Length of Work Year: 185-192 Days (Part-time and Full-time Positions Available)

Resource Specialist Full Time in Alameda and Santa Clara Counties

Salary Info:  Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience and education levels ($31.98-41.72/hour) or ($47,324.25 - $61,747.74 annual) prorated to FTE
Length of Work Year:  185 – Eight (8) Hour Days

Culinary Arts Instructor (Part-Time)

The Career Technical Education (CTE) Culinary Arts Instructor trains students for jobs in culinary arts, dietetic aide, catering, institutional food service, restaurant, and retail food service occupations. Students will learn about the breadth of the industry and a wide range of occupations and career opportunities within the food service industry.

Salary Info:  TBD depending on experience

Length of Work Year:  August-May

Certificate/Materials Required for Culinary Arts Instructor: 

1. Experience: Culinary Experience mandatory for all applicants.

2. Education: CTE Culinary credential or single subject Home Economics credential with experience in field required.

Information Data Specialist- SIS/CALPADS  

Primary responsibility is to gather and maintain data in SIS to support school departments. Gathers and organizes information and data in order to research, compute, and compose reports. Perform mathematical computations and analysis when necessary. inventory and catalog data and answer requests for data from all district departments. Assists departments with CALPADS data in the CALPADS portal and in SIS.  

Salary Info:  $16.85+ Depending on Experience
