The Board of Directors of Connecting Waters Charter Schools (“CWCS” or “Charter School”), a California nonprofit public benefit corporation operating public charter schools, is committed to equal opportunity for all individuals in enrollment, school programs, and activities. How to Enroll

Enrollment is now open from January 10th - January 23rd. 

Online registration and required documents must be submitted  by 3:00pm on January 23rd. Please review our frequently asked questions below before completing the registration. If you have any questions or would like to confirm all documents have been received please contact Enrollment at 209 874-1119 ext. 110

Connecting Waters Charter School Enrollment Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Your enrollment cannot move forward until all of the required documentation is received.

These documents can be:

  • Scanned and uploaded to your online application
  • Faxed to (209) 874-9531
  • Mailed to CWCV

  1. legible copy of the student’s up-to-date completed Immunization Records – including new Pertussis (Whooping Cough) requirement for students in grades 7 – 12.
  2. Proof of Residency 
  3. A completed Health Exam form (for Kindergarten and 1st grade students only)
  4. A completed Oral Health Assessment form (for Kindergarten and 1st grade students only)
  5. A copy of the student’s Official High School Transcripts (please retain the original for the initial enrollment meeting)*
  6. You will receive a call to make an intake appointment once the application has been processed and there is a teacher available in their service area
  7. You will complete the final enrollment paperwork and process during the intake appointment or
  8. If the meeting is informational they will finalize the enrollment process with the credentialed teacher

*  Your application will not be considered complete until these documents are received

Applications received without the required documentation cannot be processed until all items have been received.

Please note: DO NOT dis-enroll your student from their current school until you have completed enrollment paperwork during your intake appointment.

High School Students : WASC Accreditation Disclaimer and Non Transferable Courses

High School Students (Grades 9-12): As of the 2017-2018 school year, CWCV will apply for WASC Accreditation and seek full accreditation. If accreditation is not met:

1.      Coursework taken at CWCV may not be transferable to other high schools
2.      Most colleges require students to graduate from an accredited high school
3.      Non-accredited school graduates are not eligible for Cal Grant financial assistance for college
         or vocational
