EE Individualized Access – Portfolio Reviews
Portfolio Review Information:
Note: Students must be responsible for their own work and parents must support their students’ efforts.
- A-G Student must follow the UC Approved Course Outline Link, including using approved curriculum, completing additional key assignments and EE meetings.
- If partial credit is needed because the student did not complete the course, the ES will be required to proctor that final.
- ES's are required to provide Progress Reports to the EE four times during the semester, on the 10th of the month, for each month except August and January.
- Portfolio samples should be emailed to the EE, or make other arrangements.
- Students taking a-g EE Spanish or French with Nathalie Longree-Guevara must attend Chat Cafe’ four times during the semester.
Required Portfolio Samples per Semester with EE Cover Sheet
1. Rosetta Stone A-G Spanish - Each Semester:
- 2 Rosetta Stone Pruebas (quiz) / Examenes (test) or combination of both
- 2 Cultural Assignments defined by the EE
- Final: A-G Credit requires a final proctored at a Test Site or by an ES. No projects allowed for final.
2. Rosetta Stone General Spanish - Each Semester:
- 2 Rosetta Stone Pruebas (quiz) / Examenes (test) or combination of both
- 1 Cultural Assignment defined by the EE
- 1 Rosetta Stone Progress Report
- Final (proctored by parent or ES) – EEs will provide the final.
3. Student Using A-G Level Spanish Textbook Only – Each Semester:
- 2 Samples of student work (writing, vocabulary, reading comprehension, quizzes)
- 2 Cultural Assignments defined by the EE
- Final (proctored by an ES - not proctored at a test site) EEs will provide the final.
4. Student Using General Level Spanish Textbook Only – Each Semester:
- 3 Samples of student work (writing, vocabulary, reading comprehension, quizzes)
- 1 Cultural Assignment defined by the EE
- Final (proctored by parent or ES) EEs will provide the final.
- Chat Cafe’ is not required for General level students; however, it is highly recommended.
