The Bridge Program is a dynamite lineup of grouped classes taught by extraordinary teachers at the Resource Center in Modesto on Mondays and Wednesdays each week! The Bridge Program is designed to ensure your student will be ready for the rigor of high school.

Monday Schedule

9:00 - 10:30 am:                  Math 8 taught by Debbie Kutz

10:30 am - 11:30 am:         English taught by Cherie McKelvie

11:30 am - 12:30 pm:        Physical Science taught by Anita Madoski

12:30 pm - 1:00 pm:          Lunch

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm:            History taught by Denise Schrock


Wednesday Schedule

9:00 - 10:30 am:                  Math 8 taught by Debbie Kutz

10:30 am - 11:30 am:         English taught by Cherie McKelvie

11:30 am - 12:30pm:         Physical Science Lab/STEM taught by Anita Madoski

12:30 pm - 1:00 pm:          Lunch

1:00 pm - 2:30 pm:             Elective Class*/ Math Tutoring or Study Hall**

 *Elective courses ( photography, drama) are taught on 8 Wednesday afternoons

1st semester elective- Photography taught by Maureen Lemos

2nd semester elective- Drama taught by Julie Hilbert Spring dates TBA


**Study Hall (or Drop In Math Tutoring) Options on Wednesday:

1:00 pm-2:30 pm Drop in Math in main room


Parent/Student Orientation:  Wednesday August 21 at 8:30 am.


First day of class:  The first day of class will be Monday, August 19  at the Resource Center. . Students should arrive at the Resource center at least by 8:45 so they are ready to start math class at 9:00.

Cost: $900.00 per semester will be deducted from the student account to pay for the cost of materials, supplies and instruction for the Bridge Program.


Field trips dates :

Fall -  Wednesday October 16th         Spring - April 22nd

State Testing: Bridge students will have CAASPP testing at the Resource center Dates TBA



The curriculum that will be used and provided for each student is listed below. If students do not already have a Chromebook to use as an aid for their classes, one will be provided, which needs to be returned when the student drops/exits the class at the end of the year.
